Our work on this modern and highly functional city park gained accolades not only from our regional professional organization, but also at a national level. This two-acre property was planned with sustainability, comfort, and utility in mind, providing the right setting for Redmond’s growing community. With over 2,000 plants and 100 trees, the majority of the park will enjoy the shade of a beautiful canopy in the coming years.

This two-acre property was planned with sustainability, comfort, and utility in mind, providing the right setting for Redmond’s growing community. With a focus on sustainability and utility, we contributed landscape construction to this vibrant one-acre space. From flawless hardscaping to careful procurement of hardy, low-maintenance plants, we equipped the park to thrive. We were honored to receive WALP’s highest award for our work on this brand-new landmark. As a professional organization of over 300 businesses, WALP carefully analyzes its members’ work each year.

As another example of our award-winning landscaping, this bayside park brought our expertise in habitat restoration to the fore. Due to its proximity to the Portage Bay (the park is also known as Portage Bay Park), we employed careful strategies to harmonize with the marine life on its shores. Our landscape development and rehabilitation supported the existing ecosystem, including native species like Puget Sound salmon (genus Oncorhynchus).

From a custom play structure to interactive artwork, Seattle’s Urban Triangle Park is an engaging destination for the local community. Kirkland Landscapes worked closely with the designers and stakeholders to yield the best planting mix possible for a high-traffic environment. Utilizing regenerative landscaping and other eco-friendly practices, we provided and procured sustainable solutions for grasses, trees, and beautiful perennial plants.
